Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and AWS Cloud, along with technical leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications.
• Develop and maintain scalable REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design, deploy, and manage applications on AWS Cloud.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and ensure coding best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with REST APIs.
• 7+ years of AWS experience, including ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, and SNS.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Senior Developer, or Technical Lead.
• Frontend development experience is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Candidate Eligibility

• Malaysian citizens are preferred.
• International candidates are welcome if legally eligible to work in Malaysia.
• Must be available to work from the Petaling Jaya office as required.
