Operations & Maintenance

Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of:

1. Low-voltage (≤1000V) distribution panels, DBs, control systems

Electrical motors, pumps, lighting circuits, greenhouse automation systems

2. Monitor and manage electrical loads and energy usage on-site

Perform minor electrical installations and modifications where authorized

Troubleshooting & Repairs

1. Diagnose faults in LV electrical systems and carry out timely repairs

2. Maintain accurate records of faults, repairs, and part replacements

Compliance & Safety

Ensure all work complies with:

1. Suruhanjaya Tenaga licensing requirements (A1-level scope)

2. Electrical Safety Regulations and Agroto’s internal SOPs

3. Enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety standards

4. Report hazards and incidents in a timely and proper manner

Audit & Documentation

1. Maintain up-to-date electrical maintenance logs, test records, and SLDs

2. Support energy audits, insurance inspections, and licensing renewals

3. Liaise with external contractors for inspections and major upgrades

Qualifications

1. Valid Chargeman A1 certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga

SPM/SPVM or equivalent with credit in Science/Math subjects

Experience

2. Minimum 2 years working experience in LV electrical maintenance (preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, or facility management)

3. Familiar with greenhouse, pump, irrigation, and ventilation systems would be a great advantage.

Skills

1. Able to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot LV systems

2. Hands-on experience with electrical tools, testing equipment, and CMMS

3. Knowledge of local electrical codes, Energy Commission regulations, and ESH practices

Other Requirements

1. Physically fit and willing to work in a farm environment

2. Available for on-call duty and emergency response

3. Strong attention to detail and safety mindset
