Role Description The MEP Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya, responsible for coordinating and overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of construction and building services projects. The role involves preparing and reviewing technical designs, drawings, and specifications, as well as ensuring that MEP systems comply with project requirements, standards, and local regulations. The MEP Project Engineer will manage project schedules, monitor work progress, support site inspections, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Daily tasks include attending project meetings, preparing reports, supporting cost and resource planning, and ensuring that safety and quality procedures are consistently applied throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills relevant to building services and industrial projects.
• Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) knowledge, including coordination of integrated building systems.
• Candidates should possess practical Plumbing skills, including understanding of piping layouts, water supply, and drainage systems.
• Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with engineering design software and CAD tools commonly used in MEP projects.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards; prior experience in MEP project execution is an advantage.
