Company Overview
Pick Network Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of IMDA, deploys and operates Singapore’s nationwide parcel locker network, enhancing convenience for consumers and businesses while transforming urban logistics.
Job Summary
This internship offers hands-on experience in system documentation, design, development, and integration to support evolving business needs within a dynamic technology environment.
Responsibilities
Document existing processes for internal systems to ensure clear understanding and knowledge sharing
Participate in system design decision-making to contribute to effective technology solutions
Collaborate with finance teams to develop applications on rapid development platforms that meet business requirements
Maintain and enhance the web portal by adding new features and resolving bugs based on user feedback and team input
Develop new applications aligned with evolving business needs to support operational growth
Integrate new applications with various internal and external systems to ensure seamless functionality
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Familiarity with NEXT.js development to build responsive web applications
Experience with PostgreSQL and Node.js to support backend development tasks
Knowledge of git version control for managing code changes efficiently
Understanding of Docker containerization to facilitate application deployment
Exposure to AWS-related services to support cloud infrastructure (optional)
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing business requirements
Strong communication and documentation skills to support collaboration and knowledge transfer

The network will deliver convenience and choice to consumers and businesses and aid in the transformation of Singapore's urban logistics ecosystem.
