An HR Intern is typically a student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field. They work under the supervision of HR managers or directors, assisting with day-to-day HR operations and contributing to various projects aimed at improving HR processes and employee experience
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting first-level candidate assessments
- Support onboarding and orientation by preparing workstations, coordinating orientation programs, and helping with paperwork for new hires
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Help with employee relations, such as monitoring satisfaction, addressing grievances, and supporting HR initiatives
- Assist in HR reporting and data analysis, including tracking employee turnover, performance evaluations, and benefits utilization.
- Participate in HR projects, such as wellness programs, HRIS implementation, or team-building activities
- Support administrative tasks, including filing HR documents, data entry, and preparing HR-related reports
