• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate production schedules according to production capacity, manpower, machinery availability and material requirements.
• Monitor production progress and identify potential delays, shortages or capacity constraints.
• Make necessary adjustments to production plans to meet changing customer requirements.
• Ensure production plans are communicated clearly to Production, Warehouse, Procurement and related departments.
• Review raw material and packaging material requirements based on production plans and inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods and other stock items.
• Analyse stock movement, consumption and demand trends to support inventory planning.
• Identify slow-moving, excess, ageing and insufficient stock.
• Assist in maintaining optimum inventory levels while minimising excess stock and inventory holding costs.
• Coordinate with Warehouse to ensure system inventory and physical inventory are properly aligned.
• Review customer orders and delivery requirements and coordinate with relevant departments to establish feasible fulfilment dates.
• Monitor order status and ensure products are available according to agreed delivery schedules.
• Highlight any potential supply or production issues that may affect customer deliveries.
• Work closely with Logistics and Warehouse to coordinate finished goods availability and delivery arrangements.
• Maintain accurate planning records, production schedules, material requirements and inventory information.
• Update ERP/system records relating to production, inventory and planning activities.
• Prepare planning reports, stock reports and other relevant operational reports.
• Ensure all planning documents are properly maintained and traceable.
• Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Finance and Logistics teams.
• Communicate changes in customer demand, production priorities and material requirements promptly.
• Participate in planning and operational meetings.
• Follow up on outstanding issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Analyse historical demand, sales trends, stock consumption and production data to improve planning accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, inventory utilisation and resource planning.
• Assist in developing and improving planning procedures, systems and workflows.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain and Operations functions.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
