Scope of Position
Responsible for managing and leading industrial projects related to air handling, industrial equipment, and machinery for the manufacturing and process industries, ensuring timely completion, cost control, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the Project Department, including Project Engineers, Procurement Engineers, DOE engineers and Site Supervisors.

• Handle and manage projects from kick-off to completion/handover.

• Achieve project targets: timely completion, cost within budget, and quality service.

• Lead, monitor, supervise, and control all project-related works including site activities.

• Coordinate and liaise with clients, internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors

• Attend site meetings to resolve issues and ensure smooth progress.

• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly project reports on schedule.

• Attend weekly and monthly internal meetings.

• Ensure all project documentation is accurate and updated.

• Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with company policy, SOP & WI, DOE, DOSH, CIDB, Safety and any authority regulation.

• Handle ISO 9001 audit for project management and liaise with ISO auditor

• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain good relationships with stakeholders.

• Ensure proper resource planning and utilization.

• Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Background and Skills

Min. Education:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental or Mechatronic Engineering.

Min Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of industrial experience handling and managing industrial projects.

Other Experience/Training/Qualifications:

• Experience in handling and managing industrial projects related to air handling, industrial equipment and machinery for the manufacturing and process industries, HVAC project management, etc.

• Good track record of success in planning, executing & controlling MULTIPLE industrial projects and achieving set targets of on time completion, cost budgets and quality equipment & service.

Other Skills:

• Strong communication skills (English, Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an added advantage)

• Strong, dynamic, and outgoing personality.

• Honest, positive, cooperative, responsible, and accountable.

• Action and result oriented.

• Physically fit and able to travel outstation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project, CAD, Google drive and ERP systems for project tasks handling and monitoring.
