Programmes & Community Partnership Intern

Qualification

You are:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or diploma in any discipline preferably in Psychology, Healthcare, Gerontology, Education, Communications.
  • Having a genuine interest in engaging with elderly residents and exhibit the ability to connect and build rapport with the residents
  • Empathetic, friendly with a caring and positive attitude
  • Willing to learn, work flexible hours (including weekends) independently and be a team player
  • Able to creatively curate fun and suitable activities to appeal to our residents' wide range of interest.
  • Comfortable interacting with people of all diverse backgrounds; senior residents, volunteers, coordinating with volunteers and partners

  • Your role will include supporting the planning and execution of a wide array of activities and programmes for the residents working alongside with volunteers and partners
  • You will be expected to provide with any logistic support including preparation of materials during the activities.
  • Engage and interact with the residents in a warm and respectful way
  • Faciliate activities and encourage residents' participation
  • Assist with outings and special events is required.
  • You may be required to plan and support any adhoc feedback survey or projects when necessary.
  • Flexible work hours including weekends and after hours will be expected
