Position Summary

The Senior Developer LIMS is co-responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and related laboratory IT solutions. The position acts as a key technical expert bridging laboratory operations, business processes, digitalization initiatives, and software development to ensure efficient, compliant, and future-oriented laboratory workflows.

The role contributes significantly to the digital transformation of analytical laboratories by delivering reliable system architectures, integrating laboratory instruments and business applications, and enabling data-driven laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

LIMS Administration & Development

• Configure, develop, maintain, and support LIMS applications.

• Manage releases, upgrades, testing, and issue resolution.

• Ensure system performance, stability, and availability.

Business Process Digitalization

• Translate business requirements into digital solutions.

• Automate and optimize laboratory workflows.

• Support laboratory digital transformation initiatives.

System Integration & Architecture

• Maintain LIMS architecture and system interfaces.

• Integrate LIMS with ERP, MES, instruments, and other applications.

• Ensure data integrity and seamless information flow.

Project Delivery

• Support LIMS implementation and enhancement projects.

• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders.

• Contribute to project planning, execution, and successful delivery.

Required Qualifications:

Experience

• Experience in LIMS, software development, system integration, or laboratory informatics.

• Hands-on experience with LabVantage and/or LabWare.

• Knowledge of laboratory processes and digitalization projects.
