Responsibilities

Make an impact

Our Enterprise Service IT department develop and deliver IT solutions that are used across multiple platforms and countries. Consulting, conception and implementation to achieve the fitting business processes within our SAP landscape are as important as continuous support and improvement of our internal customers.

• Leading professionally and disciplinary the SAP development team
• Further development and implementation of the SAP development and SAP technology roadmap
• Capacity planning for SAP development resources for operations, change requests and projects
• Responsibility for compliance with SAP development guidelines
• Main point of contact for all internal questions regarding SAP development
• Project or Subproject leader in challenging SAP projects
• Close collaboration with the global IT teams in Augsburg (Germany), Budapest (Hungary) and Redditch (UK)
• Evaluation, design, and implementation of complex ABAP development requirements in close collaboration with national and international departments
• Creating technical concepts, development, and implementation of company-specific applications based on SAP ABAP, ABAP OO, S4/HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP FIORI
• Programming of interfaces (e.g. OData, BAPI, RFC, SOAP, and ALE) also in conjunction with non-SAP applications such as ESB and Salesforce
• Development and extension of forms (SAP Interactive Forms, SAP Smart Forms, SAP Script)
• Development of state-of-the-art UI5 and FIORI applications
• Quality assurance of SAP developments (RICEFW)
• Independent handling of incidents at the SAP application level
  
  

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed

• Successfully completed studies in (business) informatics or a comparable education
• Very good knowledge or experience in employee management
• Experience in IT demand management and project procedures
• Very good knowledge of agile methodologies (SCRUM)
• Excellent knowledge and at least ten years of experience in SAP software development and database modeling (ABAP, ABAP Objects, CDS, HANA)
• Excellent knowledge in GUI development (SAP GUI, SAP UI5, Web Dynpro ABAP)
• Good knowledge in interface programming (OData, SOAP, ALE, RFC, BAPI)
• Good knowledge in form development (Adobe Interactive Forms, SAP Smart Forms, SAP Script)
• Willingness for continuous education and learning new technologies
• Team player
• Resilient and motivated
• Cross-module SAP knowledge is an advantage
