As our business continues to expand, we are looking for a dedicated, proactive, and hands-on Fleet Operations & Maintenance Executive to join our growing team.

This role is responsible for supporting the daily fleet operations, coordinating vehicle maintenance, ensuring transport compliance, and driving operational excellence. You will work closely with drivers, workshops, suppliers, customers, and government authorities to ensure our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Operations

• Coordinate daily fleet operations, vehicle deployment, and driver scheduling.
• Monitor fleet movement using GPS and fleet management systems.
• Support route planning and resolve operational issues.
• Attend to vehicle breakdowns, accidents, and emergency situations.
• Assist the Fleet Manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day fleet operations.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
• Liaise with workshops and monitor repair quality and turnaround time.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance records and minimise fleet downtime.
• Monitor maintenance costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

Compliance & Administration

• Ensure compliance with JPJ, APAD, PUSPAKOM, ICOP, and other transport regulations.
• Coordinate Road Tax, insurance, permits, Port Pass, and statutory renewals.
• Prepare and maintain fleet operational records, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Support ICOP implementation and audit submissions.

Driver Management & Operational Support

• Coordinate drivers' schedules and operational requirements.
• Conduct driver onboarding and ICOP awareness briefings.
• Monitor driver performance and compliance with Company policies, road regulations, and ICOP requirements.
• Investigate vehicle accidents, customer complaints, breakdowns, and operational incidents, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
• Monitor GPS reports and identify unsafe driving behaviours such as speeding, route deviations, or other non-compliance.
• Report driver misconduct, traffic violations, or ICOP non-compliance to Management and HR for further action.
• Work closely with internal departments, workshops, suppliers, customers, and government authorities to ensure efficient fleet operations.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve fleet performance, safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Support process improvement initiatives and perform other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet operations, transport management or vehicle maintenance.
• Experience in logistics or transportation industry is preferred.
• Experience managing commercial vehicles and transport operations.
• Must be available on-call 24/7 to attend to urgent maintenance or operational issues.
• Willing to travel for outstation assignments.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good self-discipline, attendance and working attitude.
• Full-Time position(s) available.
• Location at: Sungai Long, Cheras.
