Role Responsibility

As a Biomedical Engineer, you will provide equipment service and support, to include repairs, preventive maintenance, quality assurance inspections, installations, testing, calibration, troubleshooting and general maintenance. This will be across one or more categories of general biomedical equipment and related technologies at multiple facilities.

Role Duties

• To troubleshoot, repair and response to the breakdown on our equipment if reported by our clients.
• Plan and undertake testing to evaluate systems. Managing the arrangement of our equipment including Planned Preventive Maintenance.
• Assist and/or review work performed by other service providers, both staff and external vendors, in completion of repair and maintenance work activities.
• Review technical specifications and tenders.
• Develop your engineering department skills and knowledge through a combination of on–the–job learning and coursework.
• Support project and programme managers in planning, managing and delivering projects across the Venticare Group companies.
• Support the customer engagement process in the application of company’s medical equipment supplies.
• Installing and maintaining equipment to use in a medical setting.To conduct on-site training to user and to repair trouble shoot medical devices.

Qualifications and Skills

· Diploma or Degree Holder in related fields ; Biomedical Engineering, Kejuruteraan Elektronik Perubatan, Electronic Engineering or any related course with 2-3 years of relevant industrial experience.

· Certified and passed at least Level 1 by Medical Device Authority as Competency Biomedical Technical Personnel (BTP)

· Can troubleshooting, repair, maintaining with efficiency in managing the medical equipment supplied.

· Can review, write, understand technical specification of equipment.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

· Proficient user of software-based systems including Microsoft Office.

· Analytically minded with excellent problem-solving skills.

· Enthusiasm for engineering.

· Must be able to work independently

DEGREE: RM2,800.00 – RM3,200.00
