Role Description The AI Implementation Strategist internship role is a hybrid position based in WP Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in the design and implementation of AI-powered workflows to support social media management, content creation, performance marketing, and website optimization. The intern will help evaluate AI tools, automate routine tasks, prepare documentation and guidelines for internal teams, and collaborate with strategists, designers, and developers to integrate AI solutions into client campaigns. The role also involves monitoring performance data, contributing to experiment design and A/B testing, and providing insights to improve efficiency, personalization, and campaign outcomes. This internship is suitable for individuals interested in applying AI in marketing and digital media environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with AI and automation tools (e.g., AI content generation, chatbots, analytics platforms) and interest in applying them to marketing, social media, and web workflows.
• Foundational understanding of data analysis and experimentation, including interpreting campaign metrics, conducting simple A/B tests, and presenting clear insights.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts such as social media strategy, performance marketing, SEO, and user experience principles.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and process-optimization mindset, with the ability to map workflows and identify opportunities for automation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document guidelines, create simple playbooks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment in WP Kuala Lumpur, with good time management and self-directed learning skills.
• Relevant academic background or self-taught experience in fields such as Marketing, Communications, Data/Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related disciplines is beneficial.
• Prior exposure to AI tools, scripting, or low-code/no-code platforms, as well as experience in creative or agency settings, is an added advantage.

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
