Role Description The Research Assistant role at Conebyte Sdn Bhd is a contract, on-site position based in Petaling Jaya. The Research Assistant will support data- and AI-related projects by conducting literature reviews, gathering and organizing data, and assisting in the design and implementation of research protocols. Day-to-day tasks may include performing laboratory or technical procedures as required, documenting methods and results, and contributing to reports and presentations for internal stakeholders. The role involves collaborating with project leads and team members, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that research activities comply with relevant standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities to interpret findings and support evidence-based decisions.
• Candidates should possess solid Research skills, including literature review, data collection, and structured documentation of methods and results.
• Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills where applicable, with the ability to follow protocols, handle equipment safely, and maintain accurate records.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills, including the ability to present findings, prepare concise reports, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in science, engineering, data science, or a related field are beneficial.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines are important.
• Experience with basic statistical tools or software, and an interest in AI or data-driven solutions, will be an advantage.
