Key responsibilities

• Driving and transportation: Safely operate a lorry to transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from various sites.
• Vehicle maintenance: Conduct daily checks on the vehicle, such as tires, brakes, and oil, and perform minor repairs to keep it in good working order.
• Loading and unloading: Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring that cargo is properly secured before and during transport.
• Route planning: Plan the most efficient delivery routes and stay informed about traffic conditions and road closures.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate logs of mileage, deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Safety and compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, site safety regulations, and company policies.
• Communication: Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and site managers to report delivery status or any issues that arise.
• Site assistance: Assist with other general labor and site duties as needed, such as clearing debris.

Required qualifications

• A valid lorry/commercial driver's license.
• A clean driving record.
• Experience in a similar driving role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic laws.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
