As a Senior Server Engineer (L2/L3), you will be responsible for second- and third-level support of server and backup systems, managing incidents, installations, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing maintenance. Ensure server performance optimization to support the daily business operations.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and resolve server and backup incidents L2/L3, including security-related issues, in line with SLAs and ITIL practices.
• Perform incident analysis and root cause identification, implement permanent corrective and preventive actions, and configure systems.
• Carry out proactive preventive maintenance, housekeeping, and health checks to ensure server stability and performance.
• Execute regular server patching and security updates to maintain compliance and system integrity.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution to ensure business continuity readiness.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Candidates possess at least with Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any other IT related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in IT / Server infra related field.
• Good knowledge of server infrastructure and backup systems, with hands‑on experience in incident, change management, and patching activities.
• Hands-on second‑ and third-level support experience with VMware, ESXi, vCenter, and Microsoft Windows OS.
• Experience with file sharing, backup systems, monitoring, security monitoring, and AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT).
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
