Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, and monitor welding and spot-welding line activities to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
- Set up machines, welding parameters, and jigs according to technical drawings and work instructions
- Assign tasks to operators according to the daily production plan and ensure clear communication of targets and changes
- Ensure daily production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are consistently achieved
- Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective actions to maintain productivity
- Perform welding jobs when necessary to support the team or meet urgent targets
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on welds; document rejects, defects, and non-conformities for analysis
- Verify product counts accurately and maintain proper records of WIP slips, output, downtime, and production data
- Coordinate with previous and next processes to ensure timely material flow and on-time delivery
- Train, guide, motivate, and develop operators on welding techniques, quality awareness, and technical skills
- Review overall team performance, identify training needs, and provide necessary coaching
- Report machine, equipment, or tooling issues promptly to the maintenance team
- Recommend process improvements and report effectiveness of process flow to superior
- Maintain tools, jigs, fixtures, and equipment in safe, functional, and orderly condition
- Enforce company policies, SOPs, workplace discipline, safety & health regulations, 5S, and housekeeping standards
- Comply with all company rules and regulations as outlined in the appointment letter and employee handbook
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by superior from time to time
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
