A MNC retailer is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving store performance, achieving sales targets, and creating an exceptional shopping experience for the customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the retail store.
• Lead and supervise the sales team to achieve monthly sales and KPI targets.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer enquiries or complaints professionally.
• Support staff training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and complies with visual merchandising standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock replenishment, and stock accuracy.
• Assist in staff scheduling and daily manpower planning.
• Handle cashiering, store opening and closing, and cash management when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

• SPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory, team leader, or senior sales role.
• Experience in sports, footwear, fashion, lifestyle, or specialty retail is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Sales-driven with a customer-first mindset.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
