Responsibilities :

• Evaluate the M&E Consultant's submitted drawings for adherence to standards and feasibility prior to submission to the relevant authorities.
• Assess the M&E Consultant's tender drawings and suggest Value Engineering (VE) opportunities if applicable.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create coordination drawings aimed at reducing service conflicts.
• Review method statements, shop drawings, and material submissions.
• Inspect the quality of workmanship in the installation of electrical components.
• Monitor the progress of site work.
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) or technical related queries.
• Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT).
• Examine the quality of workmanship in the installation of electrical components and equipment.
• Oversee the progress of rectification work and ensure that the contractor addresses the defects appropriately.
• Witness tests for insulation resistance, continuity, earthing, polarity, RCCB, OTDR, mandrel, and functional tests of M&E items.
• Review the operation and maintenance manual (O&M) and as-built drawings. Authority & Liaison
• Engage with authorities, TNB, Telekom, and Majlis regarding the Street Lighting System to facilitate work execution, monitor progress, submit documents, and obtain necessary support letters.
• Communicate with third parties and/or neighbouring lots to secure wayleave for electrical services.
• Conduct pre-qualification of tenderers before they participate in our tender process.
• Identify suppliers for product specifications.
• Propose Electrical Tender Questionnaires.
• Assess site work completion and provide recommendations for valuation.
• Other duties and assignments are to be assigned by the management as and when necessary.

Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction or property development industry.
• Experienced in Electrical Engineering field.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and construction practices.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering software.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as job role is required to communicate in Mandarin.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
