As a Light/Render/Comp Artist, you will be responsible for all lighting, rendering and compositing requirements in the productions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Light/Render/Comp Lead to deliver final output that aligns with the director's vision for the production.
- Engage at every stage of production, including pre-visualization of mood and style, complicated sequences, look development, and R&D.
- Complete assigned shots based on monthly quota requirements while meeting the art direction provided by the director.
- Optimize and troubleshoot lighting and rendering problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide technical and creative solutions for challenging shots during production.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Light/Render/Comp including experience in animated TV series and short films.
- Additional experience in feature films and live action is a plus.
- Working knowledge of workflows for modelling, texturing, shading, lighting, compositing, and rendering.
- Ability to plan and execute complex 3D lighting scenes, including working with layers and passes, creating complex compositions, and optimizing scenes and renders.
- Proficient in Maya, Redshift, After Effects, Unreal Engine.
- Experience with Nuke and Blender is a plus.
- Working understanding of TV animated series production/post-production techniques in a production environment.
- Ability to problem-solve and work within tight deadlines.
- Strong team player.
