About the role

KEVO BINA SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Architecture Coordinator / Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Bangi, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in coordinating and supervising architectural projects from conception through completion. As Architecture Coordinator / Supervisor, you will bridge the gap between design teams, clients, and construction stakeholders, ensuring seamless project execution and adherence to architectural excellence. This role is integral to maintaining project timelines, quality standards, and effective team collaboration across all architectural initiatives within the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise architectural project teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of design solutions

• Monitor project progress against established timelines, budgets and quality standards

• Liaise between architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate clear communication and resolve issues

• Review and verify architectural drawings, specifications and documentation for accuracy and compliance

• Manage project documentation and maintain comprehensive records of all project-related communications and decisions

• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work aligns with architectural plans and specifications

• Supervise junior architects and architectural staff, providing mentorship and guidance on technical and professional matters

• Coordinate with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with building codes and planning regulations

• Prepare progress reports and project updates for senior management and clients

• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in architectural coordination, project management or supervision

• Strong knowledge of building codes, planning regulations and architectural standards relevant to Malaysia

• Proficiency in architectural software and design tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programmes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise architectural teams effectively

• Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail

• Knowledge of project management principles and best practices

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment whilst maintaining independence in decision-making

• Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to handle complex architectural challenges

• Professional registration with the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM) or equivalent is advantageous
