Job Description

We are looking for experienced Riggers to join our project team in Pengerang, Johor.

Responsibilities

• Perform rigging and lifting activities safely according to approved lifting procedures.
• Select and use the correct slings, shackles, chains and other lifting equipment.
• Inspect lifting equipment before use and report any damaged or unsafe equipment.
• Assist crane operators during lifting and positioning of materials and equipment.
• Guide and control loads during lifting, loading and unloading activities.
• Follow site safety requirements, PPE requirements and work instructions.
• Maintain good housekeeping at the work area.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents or equipment defects to the supervisor.
• Work closely with supervisors, crane operators and other site personnel.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Site Management.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Rigger, preferably in Oil & Gas, construction or heavy industry.
• Experience in lifting and rigging activities.
• Valid CIDB Green Card.
• Relevant rigging/safety certificates will be an advantage.
• Able to work at project/site environment.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Able to work overtime when required.
• Good attitude, disciplined and able to follow safety instructions.
• Able to work as part of a team.
