Job Description :

Kitchen Operations & Food Quality

1. Lead daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow and consistent food presentation.

2. Ensure food preparation, cooking methods and final presentation meet company standards.

3. Enforce hygiene, sanitation and food safety practices in compliance with regulations.

4. Handle basic kitchen emergencies and resolve issues adequetely.

Team Leadership & Development

5. Monitor kitchen trainings and assign daily tasks of service team.

6. Monitor and evaluate performance to provide feedbacks to the kitchen team for better development.

7. Foster teamwork and discipline within the kitchen.

8. Handle simple kitchen staff dissatisfaction issues and promote a positive work environment.

9. Train kitchen team members to be efficient and consistent in food preparation.

Cost Control & Inventory Management

10. Monitor Gross Profit and control food wastage to meet company targets.

11. Ensure accurate inventory management, optimal stock levels, and timely supply ordering.

12. Support BOH budget monitoring and assist with cost control initiatives.

13. Feedback to Head Chef regarding the supplier’s ingredients quality and source for replacement if necessary.

14. Assist superior to carry out weekly and monthly stock count.

Compliance & Reporting

15. Ensure compliance with company SOPs, hygiene and safety regulations.

16. Ensure BOH understand and compliance to company memo.

17. Assist the Head Chef to enhance kitchen costing.

Location: Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, Bandar Sunway

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
