Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in planning, organizing, and supervising daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to approved recipes, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.
• Monitor food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and company SOPs.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering of ingredients.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain cost-effective kitchen operations.
• Train and mentor kitchen crew on food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance issues.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure meals are prepared and delivered on schedule.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Food Preparation, or a related field is an advantage.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and shifts when required.
