Role Description The Security Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bukit Mertajam, responsible for overseeing security operations and risk management activities. This role includes planning, implementing, and monitoring security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect people, property, and information. The Security Manager will supervise security personnel, coordinate schedules, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks involve assessing vulnerabilities, conducting site inspections, responding to incidents, preparing reports, and recommending improvements to enhance overall security posture. The role also requires close collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders to align security measures with operational needs and service-level expectations.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Physical Security and Security Management to oversee on-site protection and operational risk controls.
• Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Information Security and Cybersecurity to safeguard data, systems, and digital assets.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Network Security to coordinate with technical teams on secure infrastructure and incident response.
• Candidates should possess leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills to guide security personnel and collaborate with clients.
• Candidates should possess experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and security auditing, ideally within industrial or logistics environments.
• Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site in Bukit Mertajam, handle rotating or extended hours when necessary, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Candidates should possess relevant certifications or training in security or risk management; a diploma or degree in a related field is an advantage.
