Production Operations Executive

Ametal Tech Sdn. Bhd.

We are looking for a Production Operations Executive to support our daily manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will work closely with production operators, Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, Warehouse and other departments to ensure smooth production flow, productivity and timely achievement of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production output, productivity and production targets, and follow up on any shortfalls.
• Identify bottlenecks, delays and process inefficiencies, and assist in improving production flow and productivity.
• Troubleshoot machine and process-related issues and coordinate with Maintenance/Engineering for timely resolution.
• Monitor manpower allocation and worker productivity, and identify manpower or training gaps.
• Support and guide production operators in their daily work and ensure proper work processes are followed.
• Monitor machine downtime, production efficiency and operational issues, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve production-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, records and analysis using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Assist in continuous improvement, productivity enhancement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure production activities comply with quality, safety and company requirements.
• Perform other production and operational duties assigned by the superior or management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree holder in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in production operations, manufacturing or a similar role.
• Experience in sheet metal, metal fabrication or a related manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle multiple issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proactive, responsible and willing to take a hands-on approach on the production floor.
