About the role

We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Construction team at KT IRON WORKS & CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. in Kajang, Selangor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing expert cost management and quantity surveying services to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects. This is a full-time, onsite role based in our Kajang office.

Key Responsibilities:

. Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender documents.

. Manage tendering processes, including obtaining quotations, preparing tender comparisons, and evaluating subcontractor/supplier quotations.

. Prepare interim payment claims, progress valuations, and payment certifications.

. Monitor and evaluate variation orders, additional works, and omissions.

. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier payments.

. Monitor project costs, budgets, and overall cost control throughout the project.

. Maintain proper records of contracts, quotations, invoices, payment claims, and project cost documentation.

. Conduct site measurements and verify completed works for progress claims and final accounts.

Key Expectations / Requirements:

. Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD

. Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

. Good analytical, numerical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

. Good communication and coordination skills with project team, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

. Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
