Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations for assigned floors, room blocks, and public areas.
- Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet the required cleanliness, presentation, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Conduct room inspections and ensure rooms are ready for timely release, including VIP and priority rooms.
- Supervise and guide Housekeeping Team Leaders and staff to ensure proper task allocation, productivity, and work quality.
- Coordinate closely with Front Office and Maintenance on room status, guest requests, defects, and room readiness.
- Handle and follow up on housekeeping-related guest complaints to ensure prompt resolution.
- Monitor staff performance, manpower deployment, SOP compliance, and operational discipline.
- Report operational issues, room conditions, maintenance defects, and staff performance to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Housekeeping operations, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures, room inspection, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff effectively.
- Responsible, disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Physically fit and able to perform operational duties when required.
