Intern R&D

Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia
Job Responsibility
- Assist the R&D team in developing and improving food products and recipes.
- Support product formulation, recipe trials, and laboratory testing.
- Clean and prepare chicken and other raw ingredients according to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support cooking demonstrations, product testing, and recipe standardization.
- Assist in conducting taste tests and recording feedback and observations.
- Prepare product samples for internal evaluations and presentations.
- Ensure the kitchen and workstations are clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients, kitchen utensils, and equipment.
- Assist in documenting recipes, trial results, and product specifications.
- Comply with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Food Technology, Hospitality, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Internship duration of at least 3 months.
- Passionate about cooking, food innovation, and product development.
- Comfortable handling raw food ingredients, including poultry and seafood.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene is an advantage.
- Willing to work in a kitchen and food production environment.
- Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
