WE’RE HIRING — PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE

Do you enjoy discovering new products, negotiating good deals and working with suppliers locally and overseas?

We are looking for a proactive, resourceful and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our growing team.

This is more than a purchasing role. You will be involved in product sourcing, supplier development, price negotiation, new product development and market trend research — helping us discover products that could become the next best-seller in our market.

What You’ll Be Doing

Product Sourcing & Procurement

· Source corporate gifts, promotional merchandise and customized products from local and overseas suppliers, particularly China.

· Search for new, trendy, practical, sustainable and commercially viable products for our product range.

· Handle product enquiries and source according to specifications, budget, quantity and required delivery timeline.

· Compare quotations, specifications, materials, MOQ, lead times and payment terms to achieve the best overall value.

· Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers and manufacturers.

· Source and coordinate samples for evaluation and approval.

New Product Development

· Continuously identify new products and market opportunities.

· Research market trends, seasonal products, new materials, sustainable products, packaging ideas and customization techniques.

· Work with suppliers to develop or improve products, packaging and specifications.

· Evaluate whether new products are commercially suitable based on cost, quality, demand, MOQ and market potential.

Supplier Management

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers, manufacturers and factories.

· Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, pricing, reliability, production capability and delivery performance.

· Communicate directly with China suppliers/factories on quotations, samples, specifications and production matters.

· Resolve supplier-related issues involving pricing, samples, production, quality or delivery.

Order & Project Coordination

· Issue and manage purchase orders and follow up closely on confirmed orders.

· Monitor production and delivery schedules to ensure orders are completed on time.

· Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Warehouse and other internal teams for smooth order fulfilment.

· Follow up on product quality and work with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.

· Maintain accurate supplier, quotation, purchasing and product records.

What We’re Looking For

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Marketing or related fields.

· Preferably 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or product development.

· Fresh graduates with the right attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

· Able to communicate, read and write in Mandarin as the role requires regular communication with suppliers and factories in China.

· Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

· Candidates with experience dealing directly with China suppliers or factories will have an added advantage.

· Experience in corporate gifts, promotional merchandise, premiums, consumer products or related industries is an added advantage.

· Strong negotiation and communication skills.

· Good sense of products, pricing and market trends.

· Resourceful and comfortable searching for products through different sourcing channels.

· Detail-oriented, organised and able to manage multiple enquiries and projects simultaneously.

· Able to work independently while being a strong team player.

· Most importantly, we value someone who is responsible, proactive, willing to learn and takes ownership of their work.
