Position : Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary : RM 4,000 – RM 6,500

Location : Uptown Damansara, PJ

Working Hours : 8.30am – 5.30pm (Monday – Friday)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to manage, optimize, and automate infrastructure to ensure high system availability, performance, and scalability. The role focuses on CI/CD pipeline management, server reliability, deployment automation, and continuous improvement of DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Linux-based servers to ensure stability, security, and performance.
• Administer and optimize web servers (Apache, Nginx) for high availability.
• Manage and tune databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for performance and reliability.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows.
• Develop automation scripts for deployment, provisioning, and configuration management.
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Conduct regular backups, disaster recovery testing, and system maintenance.
• Deploy system updates, patches, and releases with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and infrastructure design.
• Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and configurations.
• Stay updated with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Share knowledge and support continuous improvement across the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in Linux system administration in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with web servers (Apache, Nginx) and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based development workflows.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of system performance tuning, scalability, and troubleshooting.
• Good communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
