Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our retail team in the gold and jewellery industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, providing professional product recommendations, and supporting daily retail operations.

This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy working with customers, have a strong interest in jewellery and luxury products, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with the selection and purchase of gold jewellery, precious metal products, and other jewellery items.
• Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product recommendations based on their preferences and budget.
• Explain product features, pricing, workmanship, gold purity, and available designs clearly to customers.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Handle customer enquiries, product consultations, sales transactions, and after-sales service.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets in line with company objectives.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge, promotions, pricing, and current jewellery market trends.
• Support daily store operations, including product display, stock checking, replenishment, and showroom presentation.
• Assist with inventory records and ensure jewellery products are properly accounted for and secured.
• Process sales orders, payments, invoices, and related documentation accurately.
• Handle customer feedback and assist in resolving basic product or service-related issues professionally.
• Work closely with the operations and management teams to ensure smooth day-to-day retail activities.
• Follow company policies and procedures relating to customer service, sales transactions, cash handling, and security.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in retail sales, jewellery, luxury goods, or a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Candidates without jewellery industry experience but with strong retail or sales experience are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented, responsible, and attentive to detail.
• Good numerical and basic sales administration skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Comfortable working towards sales targets and performance objectives.
• Professional, presentable, and service-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn about gold, jewellery products, and retail operations.
• Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.

Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,500.00 per month
