Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop engineering designs, drawings and technical documentation according to project requirements.
• Review project specifications, scope of work, drawings and technical requirements.
• Prepare 2D/3D drawings, layouts, calculations and design documents using relevant engineering software.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable engineering standards, codes, specifications and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, site and fabrication teams to ensure designs are practical and can be implemented effectively.
• Review and update drawings based on site conditions, technical changes and client requirements.
• Assist in preparing material specifications, BOM, technical reports and engineering submissions.
• Attend technical discussions, site visits and inspections when required.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors on technical and design matters.
• Identify design issues and propose suitable technical solutions.
• Ensure proper control and filing of drawings, revisions and engineering documents.
• Support project execution and provide technical assistance to site teams.
• Perform other engineering and technical duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant design engineering experience, preferably in engineering, fabrication, machinery, lifting equipment or oil & gas projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or relevant engineering design software.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project and site teams.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
