Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and technically competent Sales Engineer with strong experience in power systems to support business growth and provide technical solutions to clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing client relationships, and delivering technical sales support for power system-related products and services.

Key responsibilities include:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the power systems industry

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders

- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions

- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and tender submissions

- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with clients

- Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure smooth project execution

- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments

- Achieve sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth

- Support project negotiation, contract discussions, and closing deals

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field

- Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in sales or business development within power systems industry

- Strong technical knowledge in power systems, electrical distribution, protection systems, switchgear, transformers, substations, or related solutions

- Experience handling technical sales, tendering, and project proposals

- Good understanding of power system applications and industry standards

- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

- Able to build strong client relationships and manage stakeholders effectively

- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently

- Possess own transport and willing to travel for client visits when required

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical documentation preparation

- Preferred / Added Advantage

-- Experience in industrial, utility, renewable energy, or EPC projects

-Familiarity with power system studies and analysis tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD, or SKM PowerTools

-Existing network in power utility / industrial sectors

-Knowledge in energy management and power quality solutions

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
