Responsibilities

Sales Execution

• Qualify incoming leads and proactively prospect new accounts to fill the pipeline using CRM tools.
• Run product demos and site visits, explaining hardware specifications in clear, customer-friendly language.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals while protecting margin.
• Track daily activity and meet monthly sales targets with reliable follow-ups.

Partner & Channel Development

• Map and engage potential resellers, system integrators, and channel partners in target verticals.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships to access pricing, stock, and co-marketing support.
• Coordinate joint sales activities and promotional offers with partners to generate qualified leads.

Coordination & Reporting

• Work with operations and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery, installation, and handover.
• Maintain CRM records, prepare weekly forecasts, and report pipeline health to the team.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends and share actionable insights for product positioning.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably with hardware or IT products.
• Proven record of meeting sales targets or progressing accounts through a sales cycle.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and a valid driving licence for field work.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for basic reporting and tracking.
• Ability to prepare clear commercial proposals, pricing, and simple T&Cs.
• Basic technical understanding of networking or hardware components to support demos.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Strong verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to translate technical details into business value.
• Organised and consistent with follow-ups, pipeline hygiene, and sales admin.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a small team environment.
