Collektr is a fast-growing startup building a live marketplace for collectibles. We’ve received Pre-Series A funding and are preparing for Series A. We’re looking for a curious, hands-on software engineer who enjoys uncovering problems, tinkering with ideas, and building solutions that help our teams work better.

You’ll work with departments across Collektr to understand their needs, plan solutions, and take projects through development and deployment. The role focuses on Laravel, MySQL, internal tools, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations. You’ll use Claude Code or Codex extensively while taking responsibility for reviewing and testing what you ship.

What you’ll do

• Talk with teams across Collektr to understand their workflows and identify problems worth solving.
• Explore approaches, build prototypes where useful, and turn good ideas into reliable tools.
• Plan, develop, deploy, and maintain internal web applications.
• Build Laravel applications, APIs, and MySQL-backed features.
• Create MCP tools and integrations that help teams access information and complete tasks.
• Track work in Linear and collaborate using Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.

What we’re looking for

• Experience building web applications with PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
• Curiosity to dig into problems, try different approaches, and keep improving the solution.
• The ability to turn a business need into a working feature.
• Familiarity with APIs, Linear, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using Claude Code, Codex, or similar coding agents, including reviewing their output.
• Clear communication and comfort working with colleagues outside engineering.
• An interest in collectibles and the communities around them.
