INNOVATION

• Work closely with project managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to support the successful delivery of projects.

• Prepare comprehensive electrical building services drawings, including single-line diagrams, lighting and small-power layouts, ELV system layouts, lightning protection drawings, and other related drawings.

• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings to ensure accurate and complete project records.

• Revise drawings and layouts to incorporate design changes and improvements while ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information required for accurate drawing preparation and documentation of existing site conditions.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to incorporate technical requirements and specifications into drawings.

• Assist in preparing tender documents by providing accurate drawings and relevant technical information.

• Attend project meetings to provide progress updates, address technical matters, and contribute to practical design solutions.

• Stay informed of the latest Mechanical and Electrical building services standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

• Recommend process improvements and implement more efficient workflows within the drafting team.

• Maintain organised drawing archives and project documentation to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Knowledge or experience in electrical building services design will be an added advantage.

• Detail-oriented, with a proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.

• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Familiar with relevant building codes and electrical system regulations, with a willingness to remain updated on industry requirements.

• Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines without compromising work quality.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
