Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for Ember’s AI education and training solutions.
• Prospect Malaysian companies, HR and Learning & Development teams, schools, educational institutions, training providers and distributors.
• Explore suitable regional and international corporate or channel opportunities.
• Independently research target organisations, relevant decision-makers and contact information.
• Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking and other appropriate channels.
• Secure meetings, demonstrations and presentations with potential customers and partners.
• Understand each prospect’s learning, training or education requirements and recommend suitable Ember solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations and commercial follow-ups.
• Manage the complete sales process from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and closing.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, training partners, distributors and institutional stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, opportunities, proposals and sales activities.
• Keep the sales pipeline and forecasts updated for management review.
• Coordinate with Ember’s product, training and management teams during customer onboarding and implementation.
• Gather market feedback and identify emerging customer needs, competitor activity and new commercial opportunities.
• Achieve the assigned monthly sales target and other agreed performance indicators.

Candidate Requirements:

• One to two years of experience in business development, B2B sales, education sales, training solutions, SaaS or technology-related sales is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and commercial drive are encouraged to apply.
• Comfortable making cold calls and approaching unfamiliar prospects.
• Resourceful and capable of independently researching companies, contacts and sales opportunities.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Able to understand customer requirements and communicate the commercial value of technology-based solutions.
• Self-motivated, disciplined and able to work toward individual monthly sales targets.
• Persistent in following up while maintaining professional customer relationships.
• Organised and able to manage multiple prospects at different stages of the sales cycle.
• Comfortable using digital productivity tools, online meeting platforms and CRM or sales-tracking systems.
• Good written and spoken English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is an advantage.
• Willing to attend customer meetings, presentations, events and networking sessions when required.
