About the role

MYM Technology (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Process Engineering team. This is a full-time internship position based in our Kota Damansara, Selangor office.

What you'll be doing

• Assist Process Engineers in improving manufacturing processes, production efficiency and productivity

• Support the development, modification and improvement of jigs, fixtures, tools and production equipment

• Assist in investigating production problems and identifying the root causes of defects, downtime and process issues

• Collect and analyse production data to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost and waste reduction

• Assist with time studies, cycle time, process flow reviews, line balancing and productivity improvement

• Prepare and updated process documentations - sop, work instructions and process flow charts

• Work closely with Production, Quality and Maintenance and other depts to resolve process related issues

• Assist in Kaizen and continuous improvement projects

• Good analytical, Problem Solving and Strong Communication Skills

• Proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team
