We serve clients across the maritime, logistics, finance, and operations sectors in Malaysia and regionally.

We build and maintain a portfolio of complex, real-world platforms — from multi-tenant maritime SaaS systems to AI-integrated document processing pipelines — and we are expanding our technical team to support this growing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Develop and maintain web application features using PHP and the Laravel framework
• Build CRUD interfaces, dashboards, data tables, and reporting views
• Write clean, maintainable code following MVC patterns and team conventions
• Implement REST API endpoints and integrate with third-party APIs
• Build and manage MySQL/PostgreSQL database schemas and write optimised SQL queries
• Develop real-time features using Laravel Echo and WebSocket broadcasting (Pusher)
• Generate PDF reports and Excel exports using Laravel packages (DomPDF, Maatwebsite Excel)
• Work with file storage systems (MinIO / AWS S3) for document and image management

System Integration

• Integrate with Microsoft Graph API (M365, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Google APIs (Gmail, Drive)
• Implement WhatsApp Business API for automated notifications and document delivery
• Connect payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal) in merchant/e-commerce modules
• Work with SMTP / IMAP / SFTP protocols for email and file transfer integrations
• Implement SAML and OAuth authentication flows (Laravel Passport, Sanctum)

AI & Automation (Grow-Into)

• Assist in integrating LLM APIs (Claude by Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini) into business workflows
• Support OCR pipeline development using Tesseract for document extraction tasks
• Contribute to ETL workflow design for document ingestion, classification, and validation
• Work with Apache Solr for full-text search indexing features

Database & Infrastructure Support

• Design and maintain relational database schemas across MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and SQLite
• Manage Redis caching layers and queue job processing (Laravel Queues)
• Assist in Ubuntu Linux server environment setup and web server configuration (Apache / Nginx)
• Use Git for version control, branching, pull requests, and code review collaboration
• Configure and maintain RabbitMQ and Supervisor for background job management

Documentation & Coordination

• Write and maintain Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), BRD, and handover documents
• Maintain project task lists, Gantt charts, and milestone tracking
• Attend client briefings and assist in requirement gathering and clarification
• Produce technical and incident investigation reports as required

Domain Exposure (Preferred but Not Required)

• Familiarity with maritime, shipping, or logistics industry operations
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts (invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, cost centres)
• Awareness of HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) compliance concepts
• Experience with multi-tenant or SaaS platform architecture

Other Requirements

Work Arrangement

• Primarily onsite at our Petaling Jaya office; hybrid arrangements subject to project needs
• Must be available for occasional client-site visits within Klang Valley
• May be required to support after-office-hours (AOH) tasks for urgent production issues
• Shift support rotation may apply for specific managed client accounts

• Basic understanding of accounting concepts (invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, cost centres)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply — relevant final year projects or personal portfolio projects are a strong advantage
• Malaysian citizen or holds valid working authorisation in Malaysia
• Basic Salary - RM 2,500 – RM 3,500 / month (commensurate with qualification and portfolio)
