About The Role

The Executive, Client Management is responsible for managing client accounts to ensure smooth business integration and drive sustainable business growth within DKSH's Consumer Goods division in Malaysia. This role is pivotal in sustaining strong client relationships by executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate performance reporting, and ensuring seamless coordination across internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Deliver

• Support the management of day-to-day operating expenditures against budgets to ensure efficient and responsible use of resources
• Execute and monitor promotional plans to achieve defined marketing goals and drive brand visibility across the market
• Gather and consolidate market and customer feedback on current product ranges and new product introductions to inform client strategy
• Communicate new developments relating to client and competitor products to the sales team to ensure they remain commercially informed and prepared
• Coordinate and communicate all planned activities to relevant operational departments and Business Units to ensure aligned and timely execution
• Liaise with clients' marketing teams to coordinate promotional material deliveries and ensure all marketing activities are accurately communicated and updated across the DKSH team
• Coordinate the withdrawal of samples and free-of-charge (FOC) items from the warehouse to pre-planned destinations
• Monitor stock balances, manage near-expiry stock clearance, and address high stock holding situations to maintain healthy inventory levels
• Proactively establish and maintain effective workflows and communications to support the product team in managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Generate and maintain regular sales, promotion, and distribution reports including daily sales tracking, weekly stock balance reports, Monthly Sales Analysis Reports, Advertising and Promotion (A&P) tracking, trade promotion claims matching, and Monthly Business Review deck preparation to support performance monitoring and decision-making
• Work closely with the sales team on promotional planning submissions for client approval and monitor, verify, and match complete claim submissions in the trade promotion management system on a daily basis
• Conduct monthly write-off processes and Business Reviews with clients as required to evaluate performance and align on strategic priorities
• Guide and support team delivery of function goals, driving consistent execution against agreed targets
• Drive team learning and development in Client Management practices and DKSH values, while pursuing continuous self-improvement to enhance professional effectiveness
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Diploma or certification in Business Administration, Marketing Studies, or a relevant educational background
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of sales or relevant experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
• Strong understanding of clients' industry, business, and products
• Strong client management and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Strong analytical background and knowledge of statistical analysis methods
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity, particularly in cross-country and cross-cultural interactions
• Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
