About Our Client:

We are currently recruiting for a well-known services industry company in Malaysia who is looking to hire an experienced Assistant Finance Manager, who will be responsible for the end-to-end general ledger matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Finance Manager, based in Petaling Jaya.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparation of journal entries posting, supporting worksheets, etc.
• Ensure that journal postings in general ledger are up to date and accurate, complying with group's SOP and compliance.
• Support monthly closing processes, including financial reports, reconciliation, etc.
• Assist in managing audit and tax queries.
• Support in ad-hoc assignments and projects as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Degree in Finance/Accountancy or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant financial reporting, background in external audit would be an added advantage.
• Possess strong interpersonal, team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
