Role Description T

1. QAQC Planning & EPCC Rejuvenation Compliance

• Implement site QAQC requirements for E&I EPCC rejuvenation / brownfield works in accordance with the Project Quality Plan, ITPs, method statements, approved drawings, specifications and client requirements.

• Coordinate inspection hold / witness points and ensure required inspections are accepted before subsequent work proceeds.

2. E&I Inspection, Calibration & Verification

• Inspect E&I installation, replacement, modification, testing and reinstatement works, including field instruments, cabling, JBs, panels and associated equipment.

• Witness and verify calibration / functional testing of PT, TT and LT, including ranges, configuration, records and traceability of calibration equipment.

3. Valve Servicing Quality Control

• Witness and verify valve servicing including dismantling, inspection, repair, reassembly, bench / functional testing, calibration and reinstatement as applicable.

• Ensure valve, actuator, positioner and accessory servicing / test records comply with approved procedures and acceptance criteria.

4. Quality Records, NCR & Punch Management

• Raise, track and close inspection requests, punch items, quality observations and NCRs with construction, engineering, vendors, subcontractors and client representatives.

• Maintain QAQC records including inspection reports, calibration certificates, material / test certificates, checklists, red-lines / as-builts and turnover dossiers.

5. Site Coordination & Quality Close-Out

• Coordinate daily QAQC matters with the Project Manager, E&I team, client, operations, maintenance, HSE, vendors and subcontractors; participate in walkdowns, joint inspections and commissioning activities.

• Verify QAQC documentation completeness for mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, handover and final quality dossier submission.

Qualifications

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Control Engineering or related discipline.

• 6-8 years of relevant QAQC / E&I inspection experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical or process industry.

• Proven QAQC experience in EPCC rejuvenation / brownfield projects is MANDATORY.

• Proven experience inspecting / witnessing valve servicing and PT, TT and LT calibration / testing is MANDATORY.

• Must be willing to work on a contract basis and be stationed full-time at project site in Kemaman, Terengganu. Standard site working hours - 8AM- 7PM

• Strong knowledge of E&I inspection, ITPs, inspection requests, calibration control, NCR / punch management and quality records.

• Able to interpret P&IDs, instrument datasheets, loop / hook-up drawings, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, specifications and vendor documents.

• Familiar with calibration / test equipment traceability and verification of inspection and test documentation.

• Well-versed in stakeholder communication, joint inspections and coordination of site quality issues across multiple parties.

• Good documentation discipline, attention to detail, problem-solving, English / Bahasa Malaysia and MS Office skills.
