About the Role
Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure high performance, reliability, and delivering of critical network services to meet business goals.
Responsibilities
- Network Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.
- Network Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and perform routine maintenance to ensure availability, reliability, and optimal performance.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain network security controls, best practices, and policies to protect against threats and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Network Optimization: Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to enhance network performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Incident & Problem Management: Respond to and resolve network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize recurrence.
- Change Management: Plan, coordinate, and implement network changes, upgrades, and migrations in accordance with change control procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including topology diagrams, configurations, standards, and procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including systems, IT support, and site operations teams, to resolve network-related issues.
- Capacity Planning: Assess current network capacity, forecast future requirements, and plan for upgrades and expansions.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure, renew, support, and maintain network equipment and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in network administration or engineering
- Good knowledge of Cisco routing & core switching, Aruba access switching and wireless networks, Fortinet / Palo Alto firewalls and security solutions, Netskope secure web gateway (SWG) and Peplink load balancers
- Familiarity with enterprise networking protocols and services (LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
- Exposure to cloud networking (Azure / AWS) and technical certification such as CCNA or equivalent are preferred.
