Corporate Internal Audit is undertaking several initiatives to enhance audit quality, efficiency, and data-driven decision making. As a Protégé, you will support projects focused on process improvement, technology implementation, and audit methodology optimisation. This role provides exposure to internal audit, project management, data analysis, and change management within a global environment.

The objective of this project is to support the ongoing transformation of the Internal Audit function by:

• Supporting the successful implementation and adoption of a new application.
• Improving audit efficiency through standardisation and process optimisation.
• Enhancing risk-based audit planning and scoping methodologies.
• Strengthening audit reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Developing data-driven insights to support resource allocation and audit execution.

Through this project you will:

1. Contribute to the implementation of a new tool and related process improvements.
2. Support the enhancement of risk-based scoping and audit planning methodologies.
3. Assist in analysing audit workload and resource utilisation.
4. Improve audit templates, documentation standards, and reporting processes.
5. Develop practical experience in project management, data analysis, and internal audit operations.

Job Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen.
• Fresh graduates or individuals who have graduated within the past two years.
• Must not have participated in a similar program offered by other Government-Linked Companies (GLCs).
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Admnistration or related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0

You will be based in Kuala Lumpur, where you work together with and report to the Senior Manager Corporate Internal Audit Asia. You will however extensively connect and collaborate will all Corporate Internal Audit team members, both via MS Teams and on site.
