Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Developer to support the development, maintenance, and improvement of digital solutions for a premium consumer electronics and lifestyle products distribution business.

The successful candidate will work closely with the IT, e-commerce, sales, operations, and product teams to develop and maintain business applications, e-commerce platforms, internal systems, and digital tools that support product distribution, inventory management, order processing, customer engagement, and daily business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance internal business applications and digital platforms.
• Support the development and maintenance of e-commerce websites and online product platforms.
• Build and improve features related to product catalogues, inventory, pricing, orders, promotions, and customer information.
• Develop system integrations between e-commerce platforms, inventory systems, order management systems, CRM, and other business applications.
• Assist in developing APIs and data integrations with third-party platforms and service providers.
• Work with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot software issues, identify bugs, and implement appropriate fixes.
• Perform system testing, debugging, and quality checks before new features or updates are released.
• Monitor application performance and assist in resolving system-related issues.
• Maintain and improve existing software applications to ensure reliability, usability, and security.
• Support automation of repetitive business processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Assist with database management, data processing, and system reporting where required.
• Collaborate with e-commerce and marketing teams to support website features, product launches, online campaigns, and promotional activities.
• Work with external technology vendors and service providers on system integration, maintenance, and technical projects.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and development records.
• Stay updated on relevant software development technologies, e-commerce solutions, and digital trends.
• Support other IT and digital transformation projects assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in software development or a related technical role is preferred.
• Experience developing web-based applications, e-commerce platforms, or business applications will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, PHP, or C#.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases, APIs, and web technologies.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases is preferred.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party system integrations is an advantage.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, debugging, and version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced business environment.
• Candidates with experience in e-commerce, consumer electronics, retail technology, or distribution systems will have an added advantage.
