Key Responsibilities
1. Payment Processing
- Prepare and process payments.
- Verify invoices, payment requests and supporting documents before processing payments.
- Ensure payments are properly approved in accordance with the Company’s approval procedures.
- Prepare payment vouchers and relevant payment documentation.
- Process online banking payments and ensure payment details are accurately entered.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on pending approvals or supporting documents.
- Perform reconciliation between payment records, bank transactions and accounting records.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of all payment transactions.
2. Accounts Payable
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliation and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely settlement.
- Assist in month-end closing activities relating to accounts payable.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment and supporting documentation for transactions.
3. General Accounting & Finance Support
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare schedules and supporting documents required by management, auditors and other relevant parties.
- Assist with audit queries and provide supporting documents when required.
- Ensure accounting records and documents are properly maintained and organised.
- Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned by the superior.
- Perform branches auditing.
- Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as and when required
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in payment processing and accounts payable is preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and basic bookkeeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in handling payments and fee calculations.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Responsible, trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
