Mechanical Engineer - Data Centre Construction

PMX Malaysia is seeking a proactive and results-driven Mechanical Engineer to support the successful delivery of industrial and construction projects. You will be responsible for coordinating mechanical engineering activities, managing site execution, monitoring project progress, and ensuring quality, safety, and project requirements are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day mechanical engineering and project activities.
• Coordinate site works, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Review engineering drawings, technical submissions, and installation procedures.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, costs, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and EHS requirements.
• Support Testing & Commissioning activities and system handover.
• Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
• Assist in project closeout, defect rectification, procurement, and tender support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant project experience.
• Experience in M&E, industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, data center, or construction projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC, piping, utility systems, fire protection systems, or mechanical installations is an advantage.
• Familiar with Testing & Commissioning processes.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites when required.

Pay: RM1,628.53 - RM7,719.27 per month
