• Assist the kitchen team in daily food preparation and cooking activities.
• Assist with preparation of ingredients such as cutting, cleaning, portioning and marinating.
• Follow recipes, preparation methods and instructions provided by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining food quality, consistency and presentation according to company standards.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and labelling of food ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, preparation areas, utensils and equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with stock checking and proper arrangement of ingredients.
• Help monitor food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
• Assist the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Learn and practise basic cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and tools are used properly and safely.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment and workstations after food preparation and service.
• Work closely with chefs, kitchen crew and other restaurant employees.
• Attend training, briefing and coaching sessions conducted by the kitchen team.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Chef, Kitchen Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.

Pay: RM1,000.00 - RM1,250.00 per month
