Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and coordinate daily production planning and scheduling activities.

· Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.

· Ensure production schedules are aligned with customer delivery requirements and available resources.

· Monitor production progress against planned schedules and take corrective action when delays occur.

· Review material availability and coordinate with Purchasing and Warehouse to prevent material shortages.

· Monitor production capacity, manpower, machine availability, and production lead times.

· Coordinate with Production to optimize production sequence, machine utilization, and workflow.

· Review and prioritize urgent orders, changes in customer requirements, and rescheduling requests.

· Identify potential production constraints and recommend appropriate solutions.

· Supervise and guide Production Planners and Junior Planning staff in their daily activities.

· Review planning data and ensure accurate and timely updates in the ERP/MRP system.

· Prepare and analyze planning reports, production performance reports, and delivery status reports.

· Monitor inventory levels and support inventory optimization initiatives.

· Work closely with Sales/Customer Service to provide accurate production and delivery status updates.

· Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments on issues affecting production schedules.

· Establish and improve planning procedures, systems, and processes to increase efficiency.

· Analyze planning performance and identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.

· Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company procedures and quality requirements.

· Conduct regular follow-ups with team members and provide guidance to ensure planning activities are completed effectively.

· Perform other duties and projects assigned by the superior.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
